They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

This Month at Riverside
Spring is coming and the excited anticipation of new life is slowly coming to the surface again. Winter is a fantastic season for many reasons, but it is always a joy to watch the green of new life return to our world around us. As we enter into this time of new life we are starting a new series at Riverside we are calling "Talking to God." This series is going to be taking a look at prayer and the invitation that God is making to us. It is not about how to do the right things or say the right things to get the right outputs, but rather about how we can approach prayer so that it is a part of a vibrant, life giving, empowering relationship with God. So please, join on for this coming month as we explore what it means to be a people who spend time Talking to God, and how that can bring new life to our lives and the lives of those around us.
